Can a soccer play receive a red card if not shown the red card during the game?
During my soccer game yesterday the ref was a total joke and I got into an argument with him (indoor soccer and I was on the bench, not actually on the field). After the argument I left the pitch and never returned and no red card was handed out and my team was not a man down. I get a call today saying I got a red card in the 14th minute of the 2nd half but no card was shown, is this possible? I believe it is not, but i would like to see if some one has an idea.

For a red card to be valid, it is supposed to be taken out at some point whether it be during play or after. If no card was shown, then it shouldn't stand. However, make sure you got called for a red card and not a suspension, as a suspension can be handed out after a game after review or discussion.
No, the referee MUST show the red card. You cannot just magically receive a red card.
